Write Website FAQs That Pre-Qualify Leads

The best FAQ sections behave like calm sales assistants. They handle objections, set expectations, and guide serious buyers to the next step without dumping extra work on you.

Choose powerful questions

  • Start with your inbox. Tag every enquiry by topic (price, timeline, deliverables, access). The recurring themes become FAQ entries.
  • Stay outcome-focused. “What results should we expect in week one?” beats “Do you offer retainers?”.
  • Limit yourself to five or six entries. Anything longer belongs in a guide, not a Launch Sprint page.

Structure answers for clarity

Use this pattern:

Question
Short reassurance sentence.
Bulleted detail (2–3 items) explaining process, scope, or proof.
CTA pointing to the right action.

Example: “How quickly can we launch?” → Explain the five-day Launch Sprint cadence, mention optional iterations, and link directly to /services/lander.

Keep formatting disciplined

  • Use accordions so mobile readers can skim.
  • Highlight keywords with bold text to aid scanning.
  • Tuck links inside sentences (“See the Studio Site timeline”) to keep paragraphs tidy.
  • Finish the block with a CTA button to /contact once readers feel confident.

Update regularly

Schedule a quarterly review. If new questions appear in discovery calls, swap them in. If you use the Fernside CMS, edit the FAQ collection yourself; otherwise drop us a support ticket and we’ll update the section.

Let your FAQ work harder

When FAQs are accurate and punchy, discovery calls arrive with fewer surprises. That means cleaner scopes, faster proposals, and better energy on both sides. Need help rewriting or implementing the block inside your next build? Talk to Fernside Studio.
