A full-scale commercial listings platform with search, city pages, blog, and lead generation — built from scratch in Astro and deployed globally on Cloudflare.
The brief
Offices.co.uk needed a modern platform to help UK businesses find workspace. The previous site was slow, difficult to manage, and invisible to search engines for key commercial property terms.
In collaboration with Mapletree Studios, we migrated the existing site and rebuilt it from scratch: a fast, SEO-driven Astro platform that could scale to over 1,000 city and area pages without sacrificing performance or editorial control.
The challenge
The existing site had outgrown its setup. Content updates were painful, page speed was an afterthought, and the platform couldn't scale to match the business ambitions:
- Slow page loads (3+ seconds) driving bounce rates above 60%
- No city-level landing pages — missing thousands of local search queries
- Content changes required developer intervention every time
- Poor mobile experience with layout-breaking responsiveness issues
- No structured data or schema markup for property listings
- Blog content buried with no internal linking strategy
What we built
Working alongside Mapletree Studios, we migrated the platform and engineered a complete rebuild using Astro for static generation and Cloudflare for global edge delivery.
Dynamic city pages
Over 50 city-specific landing pages generated at build time, each with unique content, local office data, area guides, and structured schema markup for local SEO.
Intelligent search
A fast, filterable search experience with location autocomplete, price ranges, and office type filters — all rendered statically for instant interaction.
Content-driven SEO
A blog and resource section with internal linking to city pages, creating topical clusters that strengthened the entire domain's authority for commercial property terms.
Lead generation system
Contact forms, enquiry flows, and 'Talk to an Expert' CTAs placed strategically throughout the user journey to capture high-intent leads.
Edge deployment
Deployed on Cloudflare's global network with aggressive caching, image optimisation, and preloading — delivering sub-second loads regardless of user location.
